Search Light Inc. is a not for profit organisation dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people to achieve their full potential, by helping them to overcome barriers to education and empowering them to participate fully in the social, cultural and economic life of our community.
What do we do?
Search Light Inc. works directly with two community access schools, Southside Education in Sunnybank and the Hymba Yumba Community Hub in Springfield, to provide support for the students through funding programs to promote mental health, nutrition and general health and wellbeing and through personal support and fundraising.
Search Light Inc. also manages the Southside Family Centre and Crèche, providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for the babies and young children of Southside Education students, allowing them to continue their studies.

Search Light Inc. is a registered charity, run by volunteers and relies on grants and donations to fund the programs required to meet the many and varied needs of our students.
