Search Light Early Learning Centre provides early childhood education and family support services to help young parents while they are working or studying. Search Light Early Learning Centre is managed by Search Light Inc., a non-profit, registered Queensland charity.
Our programs support young parents, under the age of 25, who require specialised family support while studying at high school or further education or going to work.
what do we offer?
We are an approved early childhood education and care service provider offering a culturally inclusive, play based curriculum that recognises the individual needs of families and children.
We run a weekly Parenting Program and Peer support group for young Mums, giving them the opportunity to connect with other young parents, share experiences and parenting tips and support each other on the parenting journey.
We offer a complimentary transport service to support families who do not have access to private transport or suitable public transport. Eligibility criteria apply for this service.
Our fees start from $12 per day for young parents engaged in education or work, and cover meals, formula and nappies.
Search Light Early Learning Centre operates during the school term.
Government Child Care Subsidies are available for eligible families.
